Who Killed All The Grass?
Did you notice that the fairways of the old Frankfort Golf Course looked a little brown this past summer? With help from a U.S. Fish and Wildlife grant and over 100 donors, the Frankfort Area Land Conservancy (FALC) prepared for and planted native prairie grasses last May.

Garlic Mustard On The Decline
FALC received a grant in 2009 from the USDA which paid for the labor costs associated with picking garlic mustard. In 2009, 656 bags of garlic mustard were picked. In 2011, there were only 181 bags picked.
